Privacy Policy

We take data protection seriously

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is very important to us. When you visit our website, our web server saves as standard the IP of your internet service provider, the website from which you have visited us, the web pages of ours that you visit, and the date and duration of your visit. This information is absolutely necessary for the technical transmission of the website and secure server operation. No personalised analysis of this data takes place.

Insofar as you send us any data via a contact form, this data will be saved on our servers as part of our data storage process. We will only process your data insofar as it is required in order to be able to deal with your request. Your data will be treated as strictly confidential. It will not be transmitted to third parties.

Personal data

Personal data is data that relates to you as an individual. It includes your name, your address and your email address. There is no need for you to reveal any personal data in order to use our website. However, in some cases, we require your name, address and other information in order to be able to provide you with the requested service.

The same applies if you want us to provide you with information and when we respond to your enquiries. You will always be notified in such cases. Furthermore, we will only save the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

If you use one of our services, we will generally only collect the data that is necessary in order to be able to provide you with our service. We may potentially ask you to provide additional information, but this will be on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data, we do this in order to be able to provide our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.

Automatically saved non-personal data

When you visit our website, we will save certain information for administrative and technical reasons. Such information includes: the type and version of the browser used, the date and time of access, and the IP address. This data is anonymised and only used for statistical purposes, or to improve our internet and online services. This anonymised data - which is kept separate from personal data - is saved on secure systems and cannot be associated with any individuals. This means that your personal data remains protected at all times.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may potentially save information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and saved on its hard disk. The legal basis for the use of cookies in this regard is provided in Article 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO.

DSGVO: Datenschutz-Grundverordnung - GDPR: General Data Protection Regulation

Only the internet protocol address is saved in this case - no other personal data. The information saved in the cookies makes it possible to recognise you automatically the next time you visit our website, which simplifies your user experience.

Alternatively, you are also able to visit our website without accepting the use of cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognised the next time you visit, you can decline the use of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser to "block cookies". You will find the relevant way of doing this in your respective browser's operating instructions. However, if you block the use of cookies, this may restrict the usage of some areas of our website.

Google Analytics with anonymisation function

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereafter "Google". Google Analytics uses what are known as "cookies", i.e. text files, which are saved on your computer and make it possible to analyse your use of our website.

The information generated by these cookies, e.g. time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA, where it is saved.

We use Google Analytics on our website with the "_gat._anonymizeIp" add-on activated. In this case, your IP address is truncated and thus anonymised by Google while it is still within the member states of the European Union or other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports about the website activities for us, and to produce other services associated with website and internet usage. Google may also transmit this information to third parties insofar as this is prescribed by law, or insofar as third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

According to the company's own information, under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other data from Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies using the relevant setting in your browser software; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on our website.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data Google records regarding the websites you use. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) used by Google Analytics that no information regarding the website visit is allowed to be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics deactivation add-on for browsers does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or any other web analysis service we may use. Further information on installing the browser add-on is available via the following link.

If you are visiting our website via a mobile end device (smartphone or tablet), you must use this link instead in order to disable tracking by Google Analytics within this website in future. This is also a possible alternative to the browser add-on described above. By clicking on the link, an opt-out cookie is placed in your browser, which is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie is also deleted, and you must therefore click on the link again.

If you have agreed that Google may link your web-browsing and app-browsing history to your Google account, and that information from your Google account can be used to personalise advertisements, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data in order to create target group listings for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics first records via our website your Google-authenticated ID, which is linked to your Google account (i.e. personal data). Google Analytics then temporarily links your ID to your Google Analytics data in order optimise our target groups.

If you do not agree to this, you can switch this off using the relevant settings in the "My account" area of your Google account.

YouTube in advanced data protection mode

We use the provider YouTube to embed videos. These videos are embedded in advanced data protection mode. However, as with the majority of websites, YouTube also uses cookies to gather information about the users of its website. YouTube uses these to record video statistics, prevent fraud and improve user-friendliness, among other things. This also creates a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. When you start playing the video, this can trigger additional data processing operations. We have no influence over this. You can find additional information about data privacy at YouTube in its Privacy Policy.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display maps and generate route maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In using Google Maps on this website, you acknowledge that you agree to the recording, processing and use by Google, one of its representatives or third party providers of the automatically collected data and the data you have entered. You can find the terms of use for Google Maps here. You can read the Privacy Policy of Google Maps here.

Security

We have undertaken technical and administrative security measures in order to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All of our employees and all of the service providers operating on our behalf are obligated to comply with the applicable data protection laws. Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is always encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your personal data cannot be misused by third parties. Our safety precautions in this regard are subject to a continuous improvement process, and our Privacy and Data Protection Policies undergo constant revision. Please ensure that you have a copy of the most recent version.

Rights of the data subject:

Please contact us at any time if you wish to receive information regarding which personal data about you we hold (/ Me. we store about you), and if you wish this data to be rectified or deleted. You also have the right to restrict processing (Article 18 DSGVO), the right to object to processing (Article 21 DSGVO), and the right to data portability (Article 20 DSGVO). In such cases, please contact us directly.
